Summer

As I think of summer, several songs pop into my head. And as I sing them silently, none of the words seems to make any sense to me. My life doesn’t include ‘soda, pretzels and beer’. When I check out when this song was written by Nat King Cole in 1963, I realized that’s exactly why it doesn’t fit today! Plus I don’t live near a beach or wear a bikini.

Hopefully you do have some ‘fun’ plans for this summer! We are hoping to keep our garden and flowers alive with all the heat and lack of rain. Even our outdoor cat has decided it’s better to sleep inside on the chair instead of being out in the hot sun this week.

May you enjoy your day with this fuchsia sphere, bring in the lightheartedness from all directions.
