New food for breakfast

Because I was raised on a farm, we always had eggs available.  Even though I didn’t much like gathering them as a kid.  The hens thought pecking me was fun and I didn’t like disturbing them while they were sitting on the eggs in their nest.  Never gave it a thought to put on gloves, duh!  Anyway, my habit became having eggs for breakfast or oatmeal which was my dad’s favorite breakfast.  But for the past couple of days, I’ve tried a new twist to my morning break-the-fast.  Oats & avocado.  Now, I’ve never been a fan of the green ‘fruit’ or is it a vegetable?  See I don’t even know for sure.  Being adventurous I decided to try a new recipe from Kimberly’s book and amazingly for me, I LIKE IT ~~  very much!!
