Joan and I just picked dandelions from our yard and are making our first dandelion vinegar. We don’t spray or use chemicals so it’s safe for us to use. If you’re putting the vinegar in a quart jar, do not use a metal lid. Or put some plastic wrap between the jar and metal lid. That’s what I did. It’s ready in 6 weeks and is good for your digestion. Another herbalist taught me it’s best to harvest around 10 am in the morning as that is when the energy of the plant is coming up from the earth into the plants. Enjoy!
